To access the Makerspace and its equipment, users must complete a Makerspace induction. This is an introduction to working safely in the Makerspace, and includes a laser cutting demonstration and hands-on 3D print training. A Makerspace induction is equivalent to a General Makerspace Induction and 3D Print Badge from 2025 or earlier.
